After you scan a Bird (or manually enter the Bird ID #), you will be prompted to upload your license. First, place the front of the license by your phone camera to capture the front side. Then turn the ID over to capture the back of the card. However, if the scan fails on either side, you can select the HAVING TROUBLE option at the bottom of the scan screen. From there, you will be prompted to enter your driver license information manually. Press Save, from there your license will be under review. Once your driver license is accepted you will be able to ride. Refresh your app by fully closing out and reopening to recheck the status of an under review driver license.
Only valid driver licenses will be accepted. Bird does not accept identification cards, passports, student IDs, or expired cards.
